1Courier is a fast-growing Same-Day and Next-Day courier company serving the GTA and surrounding areas. We are looking for motivated Courier Drivers with their own vehicle to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Pick up and deliver packages across the GTA and surrounding areas.
  • Provide reliable and professional delivery service to customers.
  • Use the 1Courier mobile app for order processing and navigation to manage orders efficiently.
  • Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service at all times.

Requirements

  • Own insured vehicle (car, SUV, or minivan) with valid driver's license
  • Valid HST number
  • Applicable vehicle insurance (driver responsibility)
  • No criminal record (police clearance may be required)
  • Smartphone (Android or iPhone) with a data plan
  • Professional attitude and strong communication skills

Compensation

Commission-based pay per delivery (based on order value)

Plus applicable HST

Every Monday, for the prior Mon–Sun week

Do I need my own vehicle? +
Yes. You must own and insure your own vehicle. Cars, SUVs, and minivans are all accepted. Active vehicle insurance and a valid driver’s license are required before your first dispatch.
How and when do I get paid? +
Commission-based pay tied to order value. The pay week runs Monday–Sunday and settles the following Monday by direct deposit or email transfer. No holdbacks once onboarding clears.
Is this an employee role? +
No — you operate as an independent contractor under your own HST number and invoice 1Courier. You’re responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and expenses.
Can I work part-time? +
Yes. You can pick full-time, part-time, or freelance windows between 9 AM and 5 PM, and update your availability each week.
What areas do you cover? +
The full GTA and surrounding areas: Downtown Toronto, Scarborough, Markham, Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon, Etobicoke, York, Richmond Hill, Woodbridge, Thornhill, Pickering, Ajax, Oakville, Milton, Burlington, and Halton.
Do I need delivery experience? +
Delivery driving experience is preferred but not required. We onboard new drivers regularly — a professional attitude and strong communication skills matter most.

It is essential for drivers to possess the necessary insurance coverage, licences, and permits to transport all types of goods, including those not explicitly categorized as special items. Before committing to a delivery, drivers are advised to consult with professionals to confirm that they have obtained the appropriate documentation. 1Courier does not assume any responsibility or liability for drivers or senders who fail to secure the proper authorization, permits, licences, or insurance for transactions conducted on the platform.
